"My Sister, the Soldier"
Thia story is about the older sister Darlene going into the army. One day she came home and told her family she was going to enlist. Her whole family was so sad and very worried she went off to training for 3 months and Darlene said, " I'm glad I enlisted, it was a wise decision." Then she want off to war and every day the family sent her emails to make sure she was ok and she was. The mom said " I'm proud of you." The little sister said "I worried too." Then finally the sister came home on New Years.
In the AoW we read about shootings. In the section tittled "what drives shooters?" They talk about why people end up shooting and what race does it the most. The passage says that people with revenge ideas, desire for attention, desire for fame, and mental illnesses. 64% of the shooters are men, and 23% are white, 16% are black, and 9% are Asian.
